Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, UW Medicine named to Becker’s 2026 Great Heart Programs List

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and UW Medicine have been named to Becker’s Cardiology’s 2026 list of 100 hospitals with great heart programs. Both Washington state health systems earned recognition for strong clinical outcomes, advanced technology, and research in cardiac care. Virginia Mason ranks in the nation’s top 10 percent for cardiac surgery, while UW Medicine operates the Pacific Northwest’s only active heart transplant program.
