Federal Prosecutor Tom Wales killing remains an active investigation, Crime Stoppers says
Nearly 25 years after federal prosecutor Tom Wales was shot in his Queen Anne home in Seattle, investigators say the case remains active, not cold. Wales, a senior federal prosecutor and Harvard Law School graduate, was shot in his basement office around 10:40 p.m. and died the next day. The FBI, Seattle Police, Department of Justice, and King County Prosecutor’s Office continue working the case, with a $2.5 million reward available for information leading to an arrest.
