Ferguson launches new Space Council, complacency is not an option

Governor Bob Ferguson signed Executive Order 26-04 on September 28, creating a 23-member Governor’s Space Council to help Washington maintain its lead in satellite manufacturing and commercial space work. The council, which includes leaders from SpaceX, Amazon, Blue Origin, and other space companies plus labor and academic representatives, will assess Washington’s competitive strengths and barriers as other states like Texas and Florida aggressively pursue space industry growth.
