Bellevue Paints Four Artist-Designed Crosswalks — and Wants Your Feedback

Bellevue has installed four artist-designed crosswalks at intersections across the city as part of a pilot program funded by a U.S. Department of Transportation grant. The city is gathering community feedback through November 30 on whether the colorful designs improve pedestrian safety and visibility. Artists Nikita Ares and Kenji Stoll each created two of the designs, selected from an open call to local Puget Sound artists.
