Summer of artistic apprenticeship brings two new local murals created by young artists

Urban Art Works’ Mural Apprentice Program brought two new community murals to life this summer, with youth artists working primarily in Burien at Technology Access Foundation’s Bethaday Community Learning Space. Participants received stipends while learning artistic and professional skills, creating a mural designed to celebrate community spirit. A second mural was completed in North Delridge at Southwest Youth and Family Services, featuring multilingual messages of hope and inspiration.
