King County Local Services announces new permitting director

Liz Stead, who served as Burien’s Community Development Director for the past two years, has been named the new Permitting Division Director for King County Local Services. Stead, starting later this month, will oversee permitting for approximately 250,000 residents and businesses in unincorporated King County areas. She brings 16 years of experience from the City of Bellevue and master’s degrees in architecture and public administration.
