Bikini baristas win more than $1.8 M in wage-theft case
A King County Superior Court judge ruled that Alan Tagle and his company Tagle & Partners violated Washington wage and hour laws, awarding more than $1.8 million to 70 former baristas from Beehive Espresso stands. Judge Cindi Port found violations involving minimum wage, tips, paid sick leave, and restrictions on second jobs. One Beehive Espresso location operates in Lynnwood; the ruling stems from a class-action lawsuit filed in 2024.
