‘The dude is actually a cop’: Man charged after pointing gun at undercover detective on Highway 509

A man was charged with second-degree assault and unlawful firearm possession after allegedly pointing a gun at an undercover detective on Highway 509 near 160th Street on August 20. Deputies found three handguns, cocaine, and a meth pipe in his vehicle during a traffic stop near Ambaum Boulevard. Because he has prior domestic violence convictions, he cannot legally possess firearms.
