Sound Transit announces opening date for Link light rail’s Pinehurst Station

Sound Transit will open Pinehurst Station on September 30, offering light rail service to communities near NE 130th Street in Seattle. Trains will run every 4–15 minutes from 5 a.m. to midnight. Originally projected to open in 2031, the station was accelerated through board decisions in 2020 and 2022, making it the first infill station in Sound Transit history.
