Behind the Scenes of Recycling!

Lynnwood’s Waste Reduction Team toured Republic Services’ Seattle recycling facility and learning center in August to learn about proper recycling practices and the state’s Recycling Reform Act. The facility processes 200,000 tons of recyclables annually, with environmental benefits equivalent to planting 500,000 acres of forest.
