VIDEO: Success Foundation’s Workforce Discovery Lab graduates 60 South King County students

Sixty South King County students graduated August 14 from the Workforce Discovery Lab, a free two-week program by the Seattle Southside Chamber and Success Foundation that introduces students to career paths in health care, aviation, trades, STEM and more. Students from Highline and Tukwila school districts explored opportunities through site visits, professional development, and received $500 stipends upon completion. Burien was among the supporting cities, with the Port of Seattle providing $275,000 in funding to help expand the program.
