New Metro service makes it easier to get to transit stations

King County Metro launched a Flex pilot program offering on-demand transit service in Federal Way and Auburn, connecting residents directly to Link light rail, Sounder train, and bus stations. While this regional transit expansion doesn’t directly serve Burien, it reflects ongoing efforts to improve countywide transit connectivity that may eventually benefit South King County communities.
