Cool temperatures continue; showers expected to close the weekend

Western Washington faces cool temperatures and scattered showers this weekend as low pressure moves off the coast. Saturday highs reached only the lower 70s, about 5 degrees below average, with rain expected mainly along the coast and Olympic Mountains. Sunday will bring another cloudy day with late-day showers around Puget Sound and temperatures in the lower 70s before conditions improve midweek.
