VIDEO: Chaos erupts as passenger shot on King County Metro bus

A King County Metro bus passenger was shot in the chest on July 5 near Fifth Avenue S. and S. Lander Street. Rashad Mackey, 36, is charged with first-degree assault and illegal gun possession after prosecutors say he fired into the bus following an argument. Mackey, a two-strike offender, was arrested and faces potential life in prison; he’s also a suspect in a separate bus knife assault in February.
