Snohomish County Launches Planning for Centennial Trail South Extension, Invites Community to Help Shape the Future

Snohomish County Parks & Recreation has launched planning for the Centennial Trail South Extension, a 12-mile trail project that will connect Snohomish to Woodinville along a former railroad corridor and link to King County’s Eastrail network. The county is seeking community input through an online survey (open through August 29, 2026) and summer outreach events. With $2 million in funding secured for planning and design through 2027, phased construction is expected to begin over the coming decade.
