No more direct bus service from West Seattle to the airport? Sound Transit wants to shorten Route 560
Sound Transit is proposing to shorten Route 560, ending service in West Seattle and instead terminating at Burien Transit Center. The change would increase frequency between Burien and Bellevue (every 20 minutes weekdays, every 30 minutes weekends) and redirect West Seattle travelers to King County Metro’s RapidRide H Line or other connections. Sound Transit is accepting public comment on the proposal through a survey, with a potential board vote in November.
