Ballard bus service proposals headed to voters this November
Seattle voters will decide on a transit funding measure this November that includes two amendments proposed by City Councilmember Dan Strauss to improve bus service. Amendment 10 prioritizes faster connections between Ballard, downtown Seattle, and light rail stations, while Amendment 29 requires at least 75% of funding to go toward transit service instead of the proposed 60%. The Seattle City Council unanimously approved sending the measure to the ballot Tuesday.
