Regional leaders emphasize collaboration as key to address climate change in Snohomish County
Regional leaders gathered in Lynnwood on July 13 to discuss climate action across Snohomish County as part of PNW Climate Week. Snohomish County’s Climate Resiliency Plan, launched in late 2024, aims to coordinate efforts among agencies and cities to address greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for climate-related emergencies. The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency outlined 25 strategies and 100+ actions to meet 2030 and 2050 climate goals, including EV charging infrastructure and the Energize program to weatherproof and electrify buildings across the region.
