Orca captures are over, but whales still need our help

Two Fairhaven Middle School students are raising awareness about declining orca populations in the Salish Sea, highlighting historical captures (55 orcas taken from Puget Sound between 1962–1976) and ongoing threats from boat noise pollution. They urge community members to reduce vessel use, avoid water pollution, and support orca conservation efforts through donations and beach cleanups.
