Chrissy Shimizu is excited to help the Wing Luke Museum dream up a new future

Chrissy Shimizu was hired as executive director of the Wing Luke Museum in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District in May 2026, following a national search. Shimizu, who previously worked at the museum from 2017-2021, brings experience in community organizing and fundraising. She begins as the museum approaches its 60-year anniversary and prepares to open the Eng Family Homestead as a permanent exhibit in August.
