When will microtransit Zip shuttle service be in Edmonds and Mountlake Terrace to cover ‘the last mile’?

Community Transit’s Zip Shuttle microtransit service is expanding beyond Lynnwood to Arlington, Darrington, and Lake Stevens, with local officials in Edmonds and Mountlake Terrace pushing for service in their communities. The ride-hailing style service, which costs $2.50 per trip, has proven popular since launching in Alderwood in October 2022, but Community Transit is focusing on the four existing areas before expanding elsewhere.
