Take a walk on Capitol Hill’s AIDS Memorial Pathway

Capitol Hill’s AIDS Memorial Pathway, located above Capitol Hill Station and spanning into Cal Anderson Park, comprises four art installations honoring those lost to AIDS. Proposed by Seattle City Councilmember Tom Rasmussen in 2015 and debuted in 2021, the pathway is stewarded by Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center with help from volunteers and Parks and Recreation. The center is launching a youth HIV awareness campaign and starting a “Pathway Conversations” discussion series this fall.
