New Golden Gardens Direct bus will connect Ballard to the beach this summer

King County Metro and Seattle are launching Golden Gardens Direct, a seasonal pilot bus service running June 27 through August 30. The shuttle will connect Ballard’s Market Street corridor to Golden Gardens Park every 30 minutes from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with fares at $3 for adults, free for youth under 18, and $1 for reduced-fare riders. The service aims to reduce summer traffic and parking demand at the popular waterfront park.
